It's true, in many states paternity tests are available in the same isle you would find the pregnancy tests. I'm all for paternity testing, but the repercussions of the results may be detrimental. I agree every man has the right to know whether or not the child he's caring for is in fact his, but what if he takes one of these store bought tests and the results are negative? Pandemonium, is what I would imagine. After the water settles, you take an official clinical and court approved test (since the store bought tests are not approved by the court) only to find out that you are in fact the father. What then? All the anger, distrust, and stress was for nothing. I'm just saying the accuracy for over-the-counter tests should be scrutinized.

Guy Style vs Girl Style

I read this article about how men and woman view different things as sexy. All this time woman are buying items they think are sexy to men, and come to find out, there not!! How are we supposed to know what looks good to men when our clothes and shoes are being designed by other woman and gay men? Men need to come forward and voice there opinion on what looks good. Apparently manufacturers were in a financial bind, and decided it would be a good idea to stretch their resources by adding a chemical called Melamine which is used in plastics, and as flame retardants in their milk powder Link. My guess is they didn't think about the consequences before they made that decision. The repercussions of that have caused four dead infants, and approximately 60,000 sick. Many suffering from kidney ailments.

Although this happened in China, who's to say the problems wont hit home? We've already had a crisis with the pet food that was imported Link, and don't forget about the toys that were tainted with lead. The products that are being imported need stricter guidelines before people die from negligent testing Link.

Still Undecided??

It's still important to vote although you may not like either of the candidates. I agree that it has gotten better since our grandparents generation, but it does exist. It is my opinion that a black person who says it does not, is in denial. If it hasn't happened to you, I'm sure it's happened to someone you know. If a white person believes racism does not exist, then their in denial too. They or someone they know has either known someone who has said or done something racist (even if they didn't realize it).

I don't believe that society will ever overcome racism. It has existed since the beginning of time, and will exist to some extent for generations to come.
